I loved reading this, @grindan. It reminded me so much of my days working as a waitress, cocktail waitress and bartender. I put myself through grad school by bartending nights and weekends. And I've fallen back on it as a side job or fill-in between careers over the years. I met so many wonderful people in the process. I remember those times when you and your coworkers run the establishment like a well-oiled machine and you can't believe you did it at the end of the day!

Drinking on the job? Oh my. That's so funny. We did that too, but after all the patrons had gone home!
