Thanks for your thoughtful comment, @erh.germany! Many more stories will come out over time. 😄 Yes, they are plentiful. And they definitely fuel my fiction writing. Over time, whether we intend to or not, we study character traits in the people around us, filling our arsenal of understanding about this complicated human race.
That's so interesting that you wanted to be a theatre make-up artist. One of the stories I have not told yet is that I grew up in the theatre. My father was a professor of theatre at my alma mater, and he also ran a youth theatre, which was an amazing experience. I acted in a few of the plays (both in the youth theatre and at the college), but I preferred to be a stage hand. There are many great roles other than the ones on stage!
