Hi @bdellium29. I see that you are new to The Ink Well! Please read some of the other stories in the community. You will find that our community members write stories that are usually around 750 words. We ask our community members to write posts that are at least 350 words or more, as it really isn't possible to fully explore an idea or provide enough detail in such a short post.
Our community members write "short stories." These can be either fictional stories, with characters and a plot, or they can be personal stories and experiences. When you read a few other stories, you will see examples. Please also have a look at our weekly prompts for inspiration. Each week we post a fiction prompt and a creative nonfiction prompt, which are pinned to the top of the community.
I hope this helps! Good luck and keep writing.
