RE: Market Friday in an upscale thrift shop
Ha ha ha, really? Not a place to linger, then? We do have plenty of second-hand stores that have an air of cluttered, sullied despair about them. This one was a cut above, definitely.

RE: Bar Harbor/'Baahr Haarbahr with Market Friday
Yes that is so true. Every place has its charms! I’ve lived in many places as well, and I never stop missing any of them, as if I’ve left a little piece of myself in each one!

RE: The Mystery Of The Sail
In some bizarre way, I think I’ve always wished I could experience such a thing for myself. Build a hut. Survive in the wild. Maybe I watched too much Gilligan’s Island as a child. 😁

RE: Run with me
Yes, I completely agree, @galenkp. Whether directly derived from our life experiences or just inspired by them in some way, fiction contains elements of truth — and writing can help to process and make

RE: My Disguise
It must be so hard for really wealthy people to find someone who genuinely loves them for who they are, not for their money. The narrator chose a clever way to find the right person. Thank goodness she

RE: AURORA || Prompt 64
It seems Aurora's spirit was watching over him and encouraging him to survive. Great concept, and well told, @nelson-george!

Wow, this is an intense story, @zyzymena. I love how you told a story of someone trying to steal a husband from the husband-stealer's perspective. Well done!

RE: Run with me
Wonderful to see you in The Ink Well, @galenkp! What a beautiful and tragic story. So believable too. My heart broke for the narrator, and all that he endures and his terrible loss. I hope we'll see more

Wow, this is pretty much a perfect story, @wrestlingdesires. Sean and Annabeth are so brave, and such survivors. Funny, I'm reading a book right now called Island of the Lost which tells the real-life

What an interesting story, @warpedpoetic. It reminded me a little bit of the movie The Truman Show!

Oh I love Bar Harbor. I used to go there quite a bit when I lived in Boston and New Hampshire. It is so dreamy! Your pictures are incredible. I can smell the seafood! It really makes me want to go back.

My husband swears by his iPad. It was the thing that finally got him to give up his printed newspaper. He uses the iPad for news, crossword puzzles and everything! Happy Market Frida!

RE: Ahoy Matey; welcome to the love boat.
Oh my, Archer and his mother conjure up quite the picture, with their sudden commercial-time antics. I was trying to figure out Archer's age while reading this. At times I thought he was maybe just a teenager,

I really enjoyed this adventurous story, @doziekash — especially the flying horse. Wow, it's got to be frightening when your friend turns on you, and that look in his eyes is not good.

Poor Ella! She just did not have the stamina or will to survive that Peter did. At first, I thought you intended for her to be kind of a drama queen, with her melodramatic exclamations about being taken

Dogs really do have complex feelings. Of course it's not possible for every dog owner to keep every puppy, but it seemed like the owner should have kept Tarzan as he was her only one!

That would be an extremely frightening experience! How lucky for that family that the coast guard was not far and rescued them after they lost their boat in the storm. I enjoyed your story, @isabelpena.
