Wow, this story gave me chills! You use such spare, yet impactful words to tell the story, letting our imaginations fill in the blanks as we seek answers to the questions that open up in our minds! Well

Wonderful photos! It looks like you’re having an incredible holiday. I really enjoyed reading about the dunes. I had not heard of them.

Thanks for stopping by, @seki1!

Fantastic photos of fall color! They are breathtaking. And congrats on getting over 30k steps. Good luck with your half marathon.

That’s great that you are working out six days a week!

I love the wry, yet serene look on her face. She looks like a young woman who is taking command of her future!

Oops, that comment was from me. Forgot to switch accounts!

I did! Unexpectedly, I landed in a group of women who are in my demographic age-wise and interest-wise. Very fun!

Wonderful! Me too. I'm not great at baking, but I can mask my inadequacies with spices like cinnamon. 😉

Thank you, @joanstewart! The glorious fall days are waning. Soon it will be the "brown season," followed by snow and ice! I'm guessing you never have to deal with that! 😄

Those look delicious! I can almost smell the cinnamon. It is one of of the most amazing aromas in the world, especially in baked goods. I bet those pastries are wonderful with coffee.

Hope things get better for you, @newbreed! Feeling "blue" is very hard. Be sure to turn to your friends for support. And finding a therapist is of course a very good idea.

You have a very nice storytelling style, @cruciform. It's not easy to forgive people who have wronged us, especially when they won't fess up to what they have done. I found this story very poignant. And

This is such a complex, interesting, and well-told story, @rinconpoetico7! You did a really nice job of keeping the violence in the background. This story shows that it is possible to write about themes

Very nice close-ups! I can't decide whether I like them better in color or black and white. Both are beautiful.

I love BC. We used to drive up from Portland, Oregon where I was raised. I've been again recently with friends. It's a beautiful place to visit!

Looks like you had fun making those, @rossfletcher!

Thank you very much, @thekittygirl. Lovely to see you!

It really has popped here, @sunscape. Thank you so much for stopping by!

Thank you, @elizabethbit!
