Wow, I hope Zury doesn't recommend him. He does not deserve it. One thing I was wondering as I read this story is how it was inspired by the Shadow prompt. I must have missed it!

I loved how Becky began to play with the shadows in the story and find them amusing, and how you have a story within a story, @assegai.

I could see that scene with Mona performing in front of the projected movie reels as if I was watching it on a movie screen. The contrast of the mom, with her down-to-earth demeanor, was just perfect.

I really like all the sights and sounds in this story, @davidbright. It creates a vivid setting for the story that almost makes me feel as if I am there. I really enjoyed the story.
