It is just past the peak of summer, yet it’s a wonderful time for wildflowers and butterflies.
On this particular walk, I strolled through my favorite nature park, which is about 2 miles from my home. It seemed the perfect place to capture some pictures for a Wednesday Walk post. Hats off to @tattoodjay, the proprietor of the Wednesday Walk community.
See the deer?
How about now?
And here’s a bunny I met along the way as well.
In addition to flowers and wildlife, I love to take photos of the trails, woods and vines.
I also like to do some close-up shots.
Thistles are quite pretty up close!
Another deer…
More nature shots!
And here’s you can see how the wild grasses, vines and overgrowth of late summer have taken over.
Thank you very much for stopping by!
