Sublime and Beautiful Sunday - Weekend at the Lake - Actifit: June 4 2022
We were invited to join some friends at their cabin for the weekend. It was totally spur of the moment. We literally got the invitation on Friday, arranged care for the pets, packed up some stuff and off we went.
I’m sharing some pictures from the most active and full day, which started with a three mile hike, and included a full afternoon boat ride and an evening kayaking session.
I’m going to start with the kayaking and work backward, because these are my best pictures of the day.
I love how picturesque a kayak is on a beautiful lake, with a tumultuous sky overhead.
In addition to taking pictures of my friend, I also took photos of some of the lily pad flowers which are just about to bloom.
It was really a beautiful day.
Okay backing up, here are a few pictures from the boat ride. The first one is the boat at a dock where we stopped for a rest.
This is the guys, sitting in the boat as the rest of us were enjoying the sunny dock.

After we got back the girls took the boat out without the adults.
Later, we loaded the boat onto a trailer for storage.
