We had a brief respite from winter weather this weekend. (It is snowing again as I write this!)
My dog Zoey and I took a walk at our favorite park, where she is allowed to run free. It was a truly beautiful day, with hints of the coming springtime.
The clouds were high and puffy white against a fresh blue sky.
People who don’t live in Minnesota and have never experienced long winters like we have often ask me why I live here. I guess I can’t explain it, but we do have these extraordinary days, like this one, where it feels great to be alive. And the full, distinct seasons are truly amazing.
