It was a beautiful summer night to be out on the trails. The sun was lowering and the greens were intense.
I even got Zoey to sit and pose for me. It didn’t last long, because some people came down the trail with a dog, but at least I got her profile.
I captured some of my favorite types of compositions with a mix of greens and different textures.
But interestingly enough, I have already seen the intensity of the greens begin to fade. I first started seeing trees show hints of fall color in July. In fact I saw a young maple the other day that had completely turned red and orange!
I captured a few pictures of trees showing some gold.
It will be a steady turning from here on out through fall!
