Hi guys. What a day! I worked like a maniac at my job all day, then made dinner and sat down with the fam. (It was super yummy - ravioli with a choice of marinara sauce or pesto, plus salad and hot French bread.) We will be empty nesters soon, so it is extra special to have two of the kids home. We always play a game at dinner. I’m going to miss them so much when they leave on their next adventures!
Anyway, my evening was then devoted to yard work. I got almost all of my steps just walking around the yard with the leaf blower to form it into piles, then collecting them in the wheelbarrow and hauling it over to the compost pile.
I didn’t take any pictures because frankly the yard is just not pretty this time of year and I was super busy getting the work done. But I did take a picture of my little pond, which also doesn’t look great at the moment, but soon it will have lush plants all around and the little pond motor will be going, with its little fountain, and it will have fish and at night the frogs will come to catch bugs near the lights.
As a bonus, I will also share a few pictures of the wild turkey that strutted past my house yesterday.
I wish I could have gotten a picture of him strolling right past my house on the street, just like like my neighbors do, but it took me a minute to find my phone!
Thanks for visiting my blog!
