It was a rather springlike day here. The sun peaked through clouds from time to time and the birds were all singing and making nests. There are two nests under the eaves on our house. Spring has come!
I managed to get out for a neighborhood walk before I made dinner, which was lovely. I got to see some of my neighbors. We are still all being careful to keep social distance (which is kind of a funny term when you think about it), but it’s so good to be out!
And then after dinner I still had plenty of daylight to do some gardening. This time of year we have to clean out all the garden spaces to prepare or planting. They are all packed with oak and maple leaves that fell in the fall.
Fortunately I had a helper! So we got quite a bit done.
We filled three bags with all the leaves, pine cones, dead branches, and so on! It’s a start. Soon we will have lovely perennials appearing!
Thanks for visiting my blog!
