I have hardly gotten outside at all for two days, which is not like me at all, but my work has been extremely intense. I try to get out for errands or a walk pretty much every day, but the options are not all that great right now with all the warnings and restrictions. Yesterday I did housecleaning to get my steps (see yesterday’s blog.)Today it was nearly dark by the time I got out for a walk! So I need to do better, as I am absolutely sure my mood suffers when I don’t get enough daylight and fresh air.
I managed to get one picture and that was all.
A bit dark and creepy? It is a picture of a frozen pond that is deep in the center of our neighborhood and surrounded by a lot of trees so it doesn’t really get sunshine and the ice is taking a very long time to melt.
Here’s the same shot from a few days ago.
I did get most of my steps at that dark hour after sunset. I just kept walking the big loop around my neighborhood until my Fitbit signaled I had hit 10,000 steps!
Well that is the extent of my thrilling day. Hopefully I will have more exciting things to report tomorrow.
