It was another long long work day. (The deadlines never end!) But I took an evening break and my hubby met me at my office. We walked out along the trail from there to a park where we watched a co-ed game of softball for a while.
From there we walked to a little mall where there’s a Panera, and we had a bite to eat together. Finally, we walked back and by this time it was 8:30 or so and getting dark! Hunby went back home and I went back to the office and worked until 11.
It’s weird being in a mostly empty office (with the exception of the cleaning service). But wow do I get a lot done when there are no meetings and no one stopping by my desk!
Here are a few pictures from our walk. The first one is the last one I took, but it’s my favorite, so I wanted it as my featured image on this post. We came upon an adorable little elderly man who was out for a stroll. He had a walking cane, but he wasn’t using it. He was just carrying it along as if to show the world he didn’t really need it.
