This was a WTF night! (lol). At 1:39 the Moon began sliding backwards for about 50 seconds before it reversed course and headed back up. That was freaky!
Edit - Mr Bufferzz saw the rig tilt, so maybe one leg of the tripod slipped on the grass and it wasn't a Moon jig after-all (lol). :)
The Manfrotto MT055X Pro3 tripod was steady and the Manfrotto MVH500AH Pro Fluid Video Head was tight. The Desmond aluminum dual camera photo bracket was secure and the Nikon P900 camera was not slipping in its ring collar mount. So, I don't believe it was a mechanical or physical issue on this end. What caused this to happen, well, I don't know, maybe a glitch in the Matrix (lol) - I did try to rule out any possible problems with the equipment.
Anyway, later we had a Jayling glitch of not checking the SSD and the drive was full, so Saturn rising was lost. But we went back out several hours later to film the Moon and Jupiter again, along with Saturn and Mars.
What a strange night!
