When a violinist plays a perfect piece of classical music in a concert, or when a singer sings professionally well in an exquisite opera, no one ascribes such professionalism to luck. To attain a height of perfection you have to put in meticulous preparation and hard-work into it.

Excellence, success, exploits etc. won’t just drop on your laps, you have to work your way top to them. This is exactly where diligence, hard-work, practicing, and discipline etc. come in. this is not your best. You are more than this. Identify your area of greatness. Take your time, and spend your money to access and imbibe the fundamentals or principles of that identified field.
Patiently go through the rigor of training and re-training. Get close to those who have excelled in your field. Read their books; learn their secrets. Luck can’t deliver professionalism to you. You have to work to earn it.
