You know why? Because there were no Indian official present to provide her water at every 2.5 km. While other countries had their official present, the Indian desk was empty with an Indian flag. She could not even borrow water as Olympic rules don’t allow participants to drink water from other country’s desk.She drank water at every 8 km provided by Rio Olympic official not by Indian counterpart. As a result of dehydration she collapsed, but she didn't give up. She completed the Marathon.When she collapsed, there was no Indian doctor to take care of her. It took her 3 hours and 7 bottles of glucose to get her senses back. The exact words she said after gaining her sense were.
