Wow, I’m so glad I was able to help a brother out like that, crazy how I posted just at the right time for you :) I’m the same with veganism, my more or less plant-based diet is done for ethical/moral/spiritual reasons, with any health benefits just added benefits. This is why I continued eating eggs when I first switched to vegetarian diet, as I began raising my own truly free range and well cared for chickens to do so without supporting factory farming. I too see nothing harmful about harvesting honey when leaving some behind for the bees, and think it is one of the healthiest foods on the planet, a wonderful substitution for cane sugar and great in herbal tea to fight off a cold. If I ever get my own property, I hope to try homing some honey bees, if nothing else to keep their numbers up as pesticides (and maybe chemtrails too) are fast destroying them all, and without bees, there won’t be no food for nobody!
Take care, and hope the recipe treated you well.
