Forgotten in the gloom, the porcelain doll waited for the sound of the bell to announce the arrival of a new collector.
Her dresses, once bright, were now an unpleasant yellowish colour, and her hair had lost the shine that attracted so many eyes.
No one chose her anymore, too many years had passed.
Condemned to solitude, she watched with empty eyes as the other stuffed animals and figures disappeared, taken away by their new owners.
Until one night, the sound of the bell broke the silence.
But when the door opened, a sinister presence loomed over her, eyes glowing in the darkness like glowing embers, and brought her to life.
