Only silence answers.

She hugs her knees, consumed by loneliness since the death of her boyfriend.

Grief blurs reality, and lately a vision of him returns again and again, trying to comfort her.

-Go away," she pleads to the apparition.

But she only smiles sadly.

-I can't. I've never been here. I've never been here, I only exist in your mind.

She shakes her head desperately.

-Why do you haunt me like this?

vThe spectre approaches, soft as a memory.

-Because even beyond death, my love for you survives. I am always with you, not as a ghost, but as a guardian, to remind you that true ties can never be broken.
