Looking in the mirror

She looked in the mirror, admiring her ethereal beauty: porcelain skin, red lips, deep blue eyes.

Suddenly, her reflection changed. A dark shadow emerged behind her, a deformed figure with reptilian features.

A shiver paralysed her as she stared at the spectral apparition.

She blinked, and the image disappeared, leaving only her beautiful face in the glass.

She rubbed her eyes, attributing it to an optical illusion. But when she looked again, the terrifying creature had returned, this time with a sinister smile that chilled her blood.

A piercing scream escaped her lips as the thing lunged at her from the mirror.
