He gasped, his body still flooded with endorphins from his near-death experience.
As his would-be rescuer gently lowered him to the ground, the small crowd that had witnessed his daredevil act burst into applause.
-Wow, that was intense," he said, his legs shaking as he struggled to stand.
His friend Diego laughed.
-I told you bungee jumping was more fun than it looked. There's nothing like looking death in the face."
He had to admit, few things made you feel as alive as courting your own death, even in a controlled environment.
