Here's a list of streamcasts and TV stations where you will be able to catch live and post-eclipse coverage. Many of us, myself included, will be toiling away at work when the eclipse hits the continent.

I have a list of sources below. Before you head to the list, I do have a personal connection and can not miss putting in a plug for a cousin(through marriage), Ron Dantowitz. If you happen to miss the eclipse entirely, you can catch him on NOVA. Ron will be sharing many of his photos from the day on PBS's NOVA - "Eclipse Over America" at 9 p.m. EDT Monday.

When my boys were younger, we visited Ron and family, in Boston, at the Clay Center for Science and Technology. The Clay Center is a state-of-the-art astronomical observatory and learning center.
We had a chance to look at the Sun and observe solar flares. It was a fantastic experience that both boys still recall and lead to us getting our own backyard telescope.

Now to the list. I've pulled this list together, in one spot, for easy reference. There are many options, real-time, on TV or mobile devices. There is also post-eclipse coverage (another plug for PBS's NOVA - "Eclipse Over America" at 9 p.m. EDT)
Remeber the eclipse hits Oregon's Pacific coast approximately 10:15am PDT.
If you get a chance to watch it in person here is a link to the American Astronomical Society and their list of Reputable Vendors of Solar Filters & Viewers. Don't mess around with your eyesight.

-- NASA app for iOS or Android.San Francisco’s Exploratorium - show begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 12:15 p.m. PDT - download the Exploratorium's free total solar eclipse app **.
Slooh.com beginning at 8:30 a.m. PDT. On the Slooh.com website or Facebook page. They have also partnered with Univision to provide a Spanish simulcast.
TimeandDate.com starting at 11:30 a.m. EDT
CNN plans two hours of live streaming, 360-degree coverage accessible in virtual reality through Oculus and other VR headsets beginning at 1 p.m. EDT.

"Eclipse Over America" - NOVA is planning its eclipse documentary, premiering Monday. With Ron's high-tech camera shots. 9 p.m. EDT
"Great American Eclipse" - The Science Channel with live coverage from noon to 4 p.m. EDT
"The Great American Eclipse" - ABC plans two hours of live coverage
-- NBC also plans live coverage and follow-up reports at 1 and 2 p.m. EDT
-- Fox News Channel from noon to 4 p.m. EDT"The Total Solar Eclipse" - The Weather Channel starts live coverage at 6 a.m. EDT and throughout the day
No reason that you should miss the coverage. I'm sure it will be all over local media news broadcasts as well.
Remember do not observe the sun directly without proper eye protection
