Fire Wolf Holozing Creature Background Contest Submission!
Hello dear Holozing Community!
I like to share my submission to the Creature Background Contest. If you like to join to just click in this LINK HERE and see the details about the contest.
The Creation Process
Place the creature at the middle bottom part of the canvass. The background is still transparent for now and look how cute that fire wolf creature is.... getting ready for it's background design XD
Create the ground base so that it doesn't just look like floating when the background is made.
Create rock formations at the back of the ground base.
Add the lava like stuff too just color it with it's base color like this orange here.
Then add the sky gradient and also the clouds.
In here add the shadows to define the rock texture, also add this yellow glow from the lava.
Add some lava texture to the rocks too, and a glow for the lava to imply that it's hot hoooo!
Add color variations to the rocks and also some part of the sky. Just subtle but essential part of the design too.
Add atmospheric perspective to the rocks. The further away an object, the less clear they are.
Add some fire particles.
Finally, play with the color balance and adjust the shadows, midtone and highlights.
That's it we're done!
