Google Maps gave me a walking length of 34 minutes from the chicken wings place back to the mall near home. I wanted to see how accurate these estimates are and so I had this spur-of-the-moment decision to take a walk.
I had a 10kg backpack on my back, so this would probably count as rucking.
I can't believe how much you can achieve in 30 minutes, the same amount of time I squander when I chilled at 7-eleven yesterday glued to my phone while reading a book.
When my gf came home, her Mi Band registers around the same number of steps I took for half an hour for her entire day.
Anyways, I snapped a photo here and there but was trying not to make frequent stops that way I'd be true to my time estimates.
Started: 2:51
Arrived: 3:34
Not bad, Google.
I started to wonder if Google does collect data on my walking speed and gets estimates from there 馃 but that's probably a pondering for another post.
