General maintenance can be a bit boring. The fly wire screens at my place are more than 30 years old. The aluminium frames are worn, and the paint is flaking off, but they will last a while longer. The fly screens, though, are passed their used by date, with holes and sun damage. It is an easy job to replace them. You just need a bit of time and patience.
