Most people today don't value the values taught to them by their parents and now my generation of Millennials are making conservatism cool yet again.
In the last couple of few elections cycles starting with the USA and Frances election we saw the rise of conservatism among young voters. Although many Millennials decided to vote for liberal candidate in USA such as Hillary Clinton and in France for president macron, support is still great for the conservatives and patriotic leaders.
With political commentators like Tomi lahren, Milo yiannopoulos , Ben Shapiro and the list goes having shows and platforms where they debate liberals and show what is like to have vanlues its traditional to the countries they come from and where brought up with. For these commentators promoting their merchandise, books and platforms they use to give their opinions they are making people in this generation which are born in 21st century proud of being patriotic yet again. As of late ,until a lot of conservative leaders were elected this idea was very unpopular in schools and universities around the world not just in America but even in countries such as the UK Canada and that has been considered by most as liberals.
Nationalism is thus on the rise from Brexit to Donald Trump's campaign to "make America great again" people are beginning to get more and more proud of their country's history and how it came to be and less ashamed, now they are more patriotic than ever.
With a lot of unpopular decisions by liberals and left this such as Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau of paying out a lump sum to terrorists and Anglers Merkel accepting of millions of migrants into Germany they have lost a lot of support from patriotic liberals, making conservatiism cool.
Conservatism thus is cool cause it promotes the idea that being proud of your country doesn't make you a racist whatever else anyone calls or tries to label you it just makes you being a proud citizen of the country you are from and born in.
