Spotting The Leopard

Howdy folks and greetings from the Great Plains of North Texas!

This post is dedicated to @joelai because she is nice enough to visit my blog but most of the time the Wild West stories are too violent for her so she has to skim through them.

So this one's for you @joelai!

I don't know about you all but I like those pictures that have animals or objects in them that you have to find. It can be fun if you can find them.

Well, lately I keep running into photos of Snow Leopards which are almost totally camouflaged in real nature settings in the mountains. I think they're amazing.

Some are so well hidden that I studied the photo until my eyes hurt and never could find the dang animal. Anyway, I thought I'd share a few today, only a couple are very difficult. I think. lol.

Let's start with an easy one. Do you see him? He's right in the center of the photo:

This is an edit because several people said the first photo was harder than some of the others so here is the Leopard circled:

Ok, this one might be even more challenging:

Do you see him? He's dang near invisible!:

Here's another great one. It's one that is very hard to find but once you find it then it's obvious the next time you look:

Okay now that the easy ones are out of the way, here's a couple that I never could find:

Now this last one is like a scene from the nature channel and shows a Leopard about to attack a mountain goat or sheep. I don't know if the attack is successful but it's a great shot and a rare one. The Leopard's gotta eat:

The Snow Leopard is an endangered species and are hard to find as you can see. I mean even if they're right in front of you!

Photographers and researchers spend a great deal of time with giant telescopic lenses searching the mountainsides for these magnificent animals.

No one even knows how many are left but they've been seen in the mountains of Afghanistan, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Nepal, Bhutan, Russia and Mongolia, and in larger numbers in India and China.

I hope they survive.
