Mobile honey can be collected in artificial manner by placing mowboxes near the mustard field. According to the Department of Agriculture Extension, about 25,000 hectares of land is cultivated every year. The beekeepers are collecting artificially honey from mustard flowers in the fields of several villages of the present-day Manda Upazila, Barshaw, Bankapur and Kaikuri. But there are many misunderstandings among the farmers. Harvesting the bees in the mustard field causes damage to the crop. As a result, beekeepers are not allowed to settle in many places. Even in mustard fields pesticides are sprayed. As a result, bees die in the swelling of the bees. So, if the bees move in the mustard field, there is more benefit to the crop.
