Hive Business Card Design

Hello Hivers!

I came accross this contest on Peakd and decided I should give it a try.

On good days like this, I decide to spend time on designing.

The Concept

This is a very simple design revolving around the Hive logo, the honeycomb and the Philippine Flag.

The Style

I went for a Clean and Simple look mixed with a little bit of elegance I saw they want something sleek. The reason why I picked a black background too.

The Execution

Front Side:
Everything hive-related. I wanted to prioritize the QR code and so I gave it enough space to be the center of attention. I added the Hive logo next. I wanted to maximize the space so I went to their website and the first thing I saw was the tagline and I figured I should include it too. "The Blockchain for Web3" is also as important IMO so I added it too.

Back Side:
Since this is for @hiveph , I took the colors of the Philippine Flag and kept the accents from the Front. I wanted to keep it subtle but at the same time recognizable. And for me, any Filipino who'd see this would definitely think that the card screams Philippines.

The good thing about this is we can easily change the colors, depending on which community it is directed at.

"Join the Revolution" is seen on On Board Hive and I think it's very important that we add it in the card too. I played with the word "Join" and replaced "O" with the Hive logo.

Both sides have the beehive background for aesthetic LOL kidding aside, it adds that extra elegance to the card.

The finished product is in .ai and .pdf format and I have placed it in a mock-up image as seen above.
