How much distance, do you think, is there between losing 19 kilos and feeling super good about myself?
Sometimes, it's not miles. These are thoughts, in my free time.
I remember that in December 2025, it was my starting point. I felt that physically I was fine, but after a lifetime of ups and downs with my weight, I understood something: many times I had tied my personal value to my body.
I had been doing exercises because pains, an injury and other signs appeared that told me: attend to me Jani.
Until, chatting with my doctors in Gynecology/hormones/Longevity during an activity last Christmas, a word appeared that changed the conversation...WELL-BEING. And there I made a pact with myself.
It was in January of this year that I decided to shake hands.
On my birthday, my coach said to me, ”Come, I shake your hand and we'll start.".. That's how I started a treatment with Mounjaro. I know that it is a very questionable treatment, but my experience has been extremely positive and I am happy that I made that decision.
Mind you: the treatment didn't do the process for me. I accompanied him with changes of habits and training. Today I train more than in the last 25 years. At the gym, at home, when I can. And often by the hand of many friendly people.
And I learned something fundamental, and that is that transformation is not a lonely path. I've had doctors, coaches, friends and people who are going through similar processes. And that makes a huge difference. Look for people who are on the same page as you.
I also understood that the first loyalty begins with ourselves. And that having a birthday doesn't have to mean that we stop taking care of, strengthening and enjoying our body.
Thanks to my friends for walking with me.And to those who question the path I chose to feel good... everyone finds their own route. I, in particular, have too much work with my own life to be managing that of others. 😂
Why did I finally understand something:
My transformation didn't start when I changed my body. It started when I decided to change the relationship I had with myself.
Happy week to everyone.
