We have to have the humility to assume a mistake, to have a mature talk you have to be willing to listen that you are also wrong. And that's okay.
There are those who walk around with the tension stuck in their chest for weeks and they haven't even noticed, because they learned to function above that. Look, many times the body warns before the head, only almost no one pays attention to it.
There are three words that, for me, are becoming more and more meaningful in a world that is changing era: sovereignty, autonomy and freedom.
Sovereignty to respect the territories, cultures and decisions of each country. But I also have autonomy to decide who I want to be, what I want to believe and what I want to think. And freedom to not have to disguise my accent, hide my nationality, negotiate my beliefs or become an acceptable version of myself to others. Because I can think differently from my parents. I can question what I learned, change my mind and build my own identity.Because to live together is not to obey. Respecting does not mean giving up on who we are.
But there is a condition to exercise that freedom: first we have to know ourselves, recognize ourselves, know who we are when we stop being what others expected of you. For a world where no one has to hide who they are in order to belong. I wish for a world where we can be deeply ourselves and at the same time deeply respectful of others.
Perhaps that is one of the great revolutions of this new era: coming back to us.Let's make this bill together: the phone or internet plan is paid every month, and no one argues there, because "that's necessary". And yes, of course it is. But if we pay in a consultation to work, we will improve in what we have been dealing with for years on an emotional level, there yes "the pod is expensive". In other words, we keep the devices connected... and we disconnect ourselves from well-being.
Naming what one feels, even with a "something weird", is already a step. You don't need to have the exact word, to start listening to us. Who told you that was your limit? Therefore, it's time to stop suffering and it's time to start managing, that everything can change.
Sometimes we live under roofs that we didn't even build ourselves, a product of old beliefs, inherited fears, and phrases that we hear so many times that we end up turning them into identity like “That's not for me.”"I can't.”"I'm already very old.”"That's the way I am.”"That's as far as I get."And we're still living down there... as if the roof were a law. But what would happen if we challenged him?... If instead of asking ourselves “how far can I go?”, and we changed it to How high am I willing to go, when thinking about my life?.
If I knew I wasn't going to fail, what roof would I build for my life? Maybe we don't need more strength. Maybe what we need is to give ourselves permission.
