I read the book.
This book is helpful If you ever wonder what life might be like living in North Korea, or need help understanding. There is unbelievable reality - meanness, brutality, starvation, deprivation, deception, brainwashing , survival, sadness and heartbreak to name a few. Sometimes, there is successful escape. Not too uplifting, but still sort of miraculous. Really glad for a little relief since some good things happen, thank God!
