These are words that stuck with me.
One comes from my high school yearbook.
She got it from her mother, who wrote it in her autograph book, and she wrote it in my yearbook because that's all she could think of to write. It's still a nice poem, to preserve from the past. That is what I am doing here.
"Remember me, when this you see,
Although you see me not.
For I will be a friend to thee,
When others have forgot."
The other is a song I learned in Brownies (For younger aged girls before Girl Scouts):
"Make new friends,
but keep the old,
One is silver,
And the other gold."
I don't know if they still sing that song, but hope they preserve it.
