Good morning from Cuba to all of you! 馃
Today I propose you some pictures of Enzo. This handsome little man was a real "ball of smoke". He was on the set, and in just a blink of an eye his face was glued to the camera lens as if he wanted to eat it.
For this kind of sessions I recommend a zoom lens for its versatility, but since I haven't been able to buy one yet, I work with my fixed lenses.
Before, I did all the portraits with a 50 mm, but, in the case of children, if you don't have skates on your feet or it's a quiet baby, the next day you'll end up in therapy for muscle pains.
So I chose to work with a 35 mm that gives me a wider angle and being a FF lens allows me to make cuts to keep only what interests me, without losing quality in the image.
With Enzo that day I inaugurated a chaos that had never happened to me before in the middle of a photo shoot, and that is that "for some reason" (in Cuba it happens all the time 馃槙) the electricity went out!!! That's something to... to put your hands on your head and say..ay madre! (como dice Nanixxx 馃槀) y ahora qu茅 hago?!!!! Maybe in another country and/or with a car we would say, well nothing... natural light and that's it, but here it's not that simple... besides the parents wanted their photos in a studio.
Being a situation that we all know can happen, both parents were very understanding, not so much the little Enzo, with all the reason in the world, who began to show signs of discomfort because of the heat ... my poor thing.
So we decided to make the next outfit change to one light, and we used the GODOX AD 200 for this purpose, taking advantage of the fact that it has batteries (the rest of the lights are for direct connection). We were able to take these photos (the ones of the baby with the old phone) and in fact it was ones that the parents later selected to make an enlargement of.
That was the last outfit change and to finish the parents decided to take a picture with the child, and luckily the electricity came back on, and we were able to take it with all the lighting.
For me it was an interesting experience, because in the end everything worked out, despite the inconvenience.
If I hadn't had a battery-powered light, we definitely would have tried to do it with natural light somewhere nearby, but, that ENZO would have his photos?
Absolutely!

隆Buenos d铆as desde Cuba para todxs!
隆Seguro que s铆!
