Yeah, probably :)

How did you like it?

Lol!!!

I love In the Mouth of Madness and I confess it contributed to my mild Sam Neill phobia (which started with Event Horizon -- heck, even the character he played in Jurassic Park was kinda creepy.) I haven't

I have nightmares frequently, but I often don't remember them that well. I used to have very vivid, realistic ones when I took melatonin, but those went away after I stopped taking it.

It wasn't supposed to be ranked! My article specifically says that it's not ranked. But the editor added numbers anyway, which kind of ruined the article. Agree that Anjelica Huston would be higher up

I've not seen it, but have you ever seen Carpenter's Cigaret Burns from Masters of Horror? Oh boy...

Thanks for the detailed review! I read books like this all the time when I was a kid in the 70s. Those, and all the Alfred Hitchcock and Ellery Queen anthologies. But not this particular one. I didn't

Great post! Thanks a lot. Resteemed.

Me too. I used to think that Frankenstein Meets Abbott and Costello was scary.

Yup, it's a good one for a rainy Saturday afternoon.

Lol, A Separate Peace is one of my favorite novels. I've never read The Chocolate War though.

Thank you!

I'm sure he wasn't a nice guy IRL. My problem was Peckinpah demanding that the audience fall in love with him, without giving us any reason to do so. I miss the old star-studded films as well. I think

Plus in the early 60s, spaghetti was the only type of Italian food that Americans knew about.

Do you plan to watch the sequel, Dollman vs. Demonic Toys? It also stars the beloved Tracy.

It sounds great! I love creepy doll/toy movies. Chucky is my fave of the 80s horror franchises. And Tracy Scoggins, queen of the straight-to-video Bs!

The basement freak-out scene is repeated in the much-inferior sequel, Stepfather 2. Only it's now a woodshop in the garage instead of in the basement. Great review!

It does look fun!

I don't think it was meant to be derogatory. I think it was just "Wow, how weird is it that Italians are making Westerns!" Westerns being the quintessential American film genre and all that.
