My friend and I visited the Chinese University of Hong Kong one weekend to catch the autumn foliage before it fades. We were grateful that the school has several barrier-free facilities that are open to the public. There are different attractions inside the school premise and it's not just a campus. That one though will be posted one of these days.
After wandering around one of its attractions, we headed to the upper part of the hill to supposedly visit another autumn attraction. The campus is located on the hillside and so they have a bus shuttle for students and visitors going up the hill. When we thought we were in the right place, we alighted from the bus. Unfortunately, it wasn't the right spot.
So my friend and I just walk up the hill again to look for what they called another attraction up there. But it was five in the afternoon and the rain suddenly pours. We didn't find the attraction, but rather, we saw the winding view of the road up there, and other parts of the university. We were amazed by how big the University is and it has several departments and facilities located on the hillside.
It was actually a pretty place to rest overlooking the city view. Only if the weather was fine and there was no rain. But it was certainly prettier at night when all lights are on. There were also benches along the viewing point.
We traced our way back to the bottom of the hill as it was getting late. The last few photos were taken at the railway station. That is just one of the old railways of Hong Kong. It reminded me of the MRT station in the Philippines. In the last photo, my friend sent me, I realized that I look scary in that black jacket, and long black hair, just like in those horror movies, lol. I need to cut my hair already, haha.
That concludes my blog for today. Happy humpday @tattoodjay and #WednesdayWalk community 😊.
