Hello, minismallholding@minismallholding

What a tricky subject! Discrimination. You know, I loved the way you presented it, with respect and genuine concern. Likewise, I read almost every conversation in the comment thread. Full of experiences and rational positions. All of it brought to mind, in what to my mind has been diluted over time, love and humility. In a world eminently materialistic and utilitarian, the other is not like us. The problem is that we are not so different from the others, beyond prejudice and false self-concept of superiority. Manifest human stupidity!

We probably do not have the power to eliminate these behaviors in others directly, but I passionately believe that we can embark on our own path to this end in ourselves. And perhaps, in an indirect way, we can contribute to a world, if not free of social discrimination, at least a world that is more solidarity and fraternal. Well, maybe I am an inveterate idealist, but it is dreams that move us to be better. Of course, without forgetting that in doing so, we must also take care not to negatively affect the other, who is also my brother, regardless of skin color and beliefs, even if they are contrary to our own.

Greetings.
