Hola comunidad de Hive. Me parece que como primera publicación en mi Blog, es mejor dedicarla a explicarles en grandes rasgos quién soy, y desde luego, de qué va mi contenido.
Hello Hive community. It seems to me that as the first publication in my Blog, it is better to dedicate it to explain in broad terms who I am, and of course, what my content is about.
Soy dibujante e ilustrador, y también me gusta la animación (el dibujo de arriba es una versión animada de mi). El nombre que uso acá y que aparece de firma en mis trabajos es Jam; las iniciales de mi nombre real: José Antonio Marcano. Curiosamente, Jam significa mermelada en inglés, pero no soy muy dulce que digamos... jajaja. Nací en un hospital de Cumaná, Estado Sucre, Venezuela (un lugar de hermosas playas). Desde niño dibujo cosas que se me ocurren, cosas que veo y que luego le doy mi toque personal al ilustrarlo. También soy ingeniero, pero ese es otro tema.
I am a cartoonist and illustrator, and I also like animation (the drawing above is an animated version of me). The name that I use here and that appears as a signature in my works is Jam; the initials of my real name: José Antonio Marcano. Interestingly, Jam means jam in English, but I'm not very sweet to say ... hahaha. I was born in a hospital in Cumaná, Sucre State, Venezuela (a place with beautiful beaches). Since I was a child I draw things that occur to me, things that I see and that later I give my personal touch by illustrating it. I am also an engineer, but that is another matter.
En este Blog compartiré y hablaré de mis dibujos, ilustraciones, animaciones y cosas por el estilo. Siempre me ha gustado el dibujo, es un hobby que tengo para relajarme imaginando cosas que luego plasmo en una imagen, mientras escucho Rock and Roll y tomo café. Puedo pasar muchas horas en eso sin percatarme. Por cierto, mis dibujos están profundamente relacionados con el género del terror, horror y humor negro en su mayoría (el arte de este género es mi favorita, les advierto) y eso es así desde que soy niño.
In this Blog I will share and talk about my drawings, illustrations, animations and things like that. I have always liked drawing, it is a hobby that I have to relax imagining things that I later translate into an image, while listening to Rock and Roll and drinking coffee. I can spend many hours on it without realizing it. By the way, my drawings are deeply related to the genre of terror, horror and black humor for the most part (the art of this genre is my favorite, I warn you) and that has been the case since I was a child.
Mi intención es poder compartir cosas que hago y me gustan del dibujo y la animación. Espero aportar imágenes cargadas de expresiones que te sorprendan con cada publicación que haga. Publicaciones que intentaré sean muy recurrentes. Esta es una muy breve introducción de mí y de mi Blog, cuyo contenido se hará más claro a medida que publico mis obras.
My intention is to be able to share things that I do and like drawing and animation. I hope to contribute images loaded with expressions that surprise you with each publication I make. Publications that I will try are very recurring. This is a very short introduction of me and my Blog, the content of which will become clearer as I publish my works.
