These famous women of Egypt, women of the Nile.
They are creatures from the river, like the crocodile.
Those females from Africa, they rarely put on a smile.
Clothed in precious gold and Egyptian body paint,
the sarcophagus' stained with Roman Saint.
If only they had cameras back then in time,
we'd be watching the ancient Egyptians committing crime.
Why is it that half-man, half-animal beings are normal to them,
but here in modern day America, we think of monsters as boredom?
Perhaps I should have taken more Art history back in school..
Now it seems like I've lost touch with women, and I'm not cool.
Where am I going with this rant and rave about ancient women?
Why was is that I started writing this poem instead of eating Ramen?
So much for these women of the old historic past,
I think my poem is so broken that it needs a cast!
