Several years ago, The people have been surprised by some chemical solution called SSD Chemical Solution or chemical cleaning currency (CCC ), They mentioned this solution can to clean black ink of Black Dollar, According to a source said the black dollars would be real money after being cleaned with a chemical solution, they offered to buy black dollars, and then offered to buy chemical liquid to make it be as real money. To convince the victims, They cleaned up some black money that had been blacked, so the dollar became the original money. Many people are tempted by black paper, after they sell black paper which called as Black Dollar, then they persuade to buy chemical liquids, even many websites also offer this chemical. A source said the black paper was carried by a foreigners.
He said the dollar is some output of one UK Bank which has not been circulated. Then they took out a black dollar as an example. In addition, there is a small bottle of liquid chemical. The Negro explains the money is new money that has not been circulated, it still seems not 'mature' . To make it as a whole dollar required some liquid (chemical). Then they demonstrated how to smear black dollar sheet with the chemical liquid. We like to watch a magic show. The unattractive black sheets turned into dollar sheets, almost exactly same as the real one.
What is Really Happened ?
Certainly you have heard about iodine , a solid having a blackish or purplish color when evaporated at room temperature, it is often used in the manufacture of antiseptics such as betadine, iodine was difficult to dissolve in water but soluble by using a Potassium Iodide (KI) as catalyst to increase solubility. Actually, They just covered some of the genuine dollars with ink solution to iodine and other paper or black dollars is really blacks paper , They clean up the original money that has been coated into iodine using a chemical liquid they called as SSD Chemical, basically this liquid is vitamin C or in chemical formula called as ascorbic acid. After they make this trick, they offer to buy the solution, Actually the solution is only vitamin C. So many people are scammed into the trick, as if all black paper was real dollars.
The iodine formation by chemical formula can be written by equation :
I2 + I- → I3-
Iodine forms Tri Iodide ion complex when it reacts with Iodide.The iodine in water can be hydrolyzed and form Hypoiodite acid.
I2 + H2O → HIO + H+ +I-
Generally, pH greatly affects the hydrolysis degree, the more acidic a solution, the smaller the level of hydrolysis and vice versa.
Iodine and Vitamin C
Vitamin C or ascorbic acid is an un-satable compound because it readily reacts with oxygen (O2). The redox titration is a simultaneous process of reduction and oxidation. Usually to detect end point of this process by using potentiometry, iodine was used in titration of vitamin C content, because iodine can oxidize of a compounds having a lower reduction potential.
C6H8O6 + I2 → C6H8O6 + 2I- + 2H+
In principle, The ascorbic acid prescribed by oxidation of iodometric titration, in this reaction we can see I2 reduced to iodide (I-), a substance with low reduction potential will be reduced. The iodine solution made with potassium iodide is unstable, it is caused by evaporation and also low ph can also be oxidized by the air (O2) even oxidation can be accelerated by heating and light.
The vitamin C can oxidize the iodide substances, so the trick they have been done is mix Vitamin C or they called as SSD Universal Solution, as imagination can be seen in the following video, or you can try by dripping betadine into a glass of water until it brownish, then add Vitamin C into it, so the water will come back clear.
