We spent last Thursday through Monday at the Missoula Sci-fi and Fantasy Convention. It has taken me an extra 4 days to have energy to make a post!
Please enjoy these photos from my hometown convention!
There were some great costumes this year! The Skeskis and Hoggle were amazing!
The guest of honor this year was David Gerrold, the writer who's story The Trouble with Tribbles became a Star Trek episode. The Tribbles on the balcony increased every day.
A few friends came as satanic nuns! Their baby was very terrifying.
There is always a IronMan costume on display, it is wear-able, but not comfortable according to the builder.
A friend made her own version of the Infinity Gauntlet!
I try to always feed my gamers something healthy. I had a guy walk in to the gaming room, grab a few carrots and then look startled. I quote- "those aren't cheetos!" He proceeded to eat a plate of carrots and hummus very happily.
I understand the confusion at first glance-
I picked up a few new books to enjoy from some of my favorite authors.
And a little present from @lordvdr! A new corset and costume that will be awesome for future conventions. I'm hoping that someone posts a photo of me in the outfit that I can share, I didn't get any while I was working the Art Auction unfortunately. I was able to wear it for that evenings Lord of the 5 Rings LARP and had a lot of fun.
Hope you enjoy my photos from the convention!
