Took a walk around the Welcome Center near Gramercy, La this afternoon. There was a geocache along the boardwalk and lots of birds and plants to see.
Plus an old railroad engine and post office building.
And some cute statues at the edge of the swamp-
And bugs! I still itch from all the bugs.
Then I went to visit Lake Pontchatrain and found a little place that served burgers and seafood. It had some nice views of the lake-
And a place where boats could be safely put in-
And while I had hoped to spot a Manatee, I had no luck-
