A short bit about a gentleman that did a 3 week stint at our facility.
This guy was (guessing) at least 10 Year’s my senior, and this is what kind of workmanship that was brought to the table.
These wires were buried amongst the rest of the wires in the duct. This in an electrician’s nightmare. It was apparent he knew he nicked some of the wires as they had been heat shrunk to conceal the copper exposure. In my position working with NEW equipment, if you hit the wire, re-run the cable.
The calamity also involved wires landed in wrong terminals and multiple wires labeled for the same input, landed in different locations.
This is my thought....
If you need to hide work that you just performed...most likely it is not work done correctly. Maybe it’s time to find a different calling.
