Just thought I’d share a few photos of the panel I’m building. This is what goes into an industrial control panel.
This is the blank. I’ll lay everything on it and the mark it all out.
Once I have all the surface mount components marked out I pull it all back off. Now I’ll drill and tap the holes and scuff up the back panel ground lug locations.
Now I’ll place all the components back onto the back panel and fasten them down.
I build panels to a UL certification so all componentry has to be labeled.
Now that I have the panel all laid out and labeled, on to the wiring. We’ll save that for the next post! Until then Steem on!
