Coinmarketcap has removed the controversial Bitcoin.com from its BTC page.
Likely resulting from confusion surrounding bitcoin and bitcoin cash, this latest move will be seen by many as a victory for the BTC community
The Bitcoin (BTC) vs. Bitcoin Cash (BCH) dispute has again come to the fore with popular crypto-tracking website CoinMarketCap removing Bitcoin.com from its Bitcoin (BTC) page. The move is somewhat recent, as using the Internet Archive we can see that on May 2, 2018 the allegedly misleading website was still there. While the company has released no official statement regarding the removal - it likely results from the confusion surrounding the Bitcoin.com URL and its association with Bitcoin Cash.
