오늘은 실물 거래의 기본 수단인 컨테이너에 대해서 기록해볼까 합니다.
Hello, this is second time for International Trade piece.
Today, I will tell you 'Container' which is used for basic trading.
보통 한번 제작되면, 짧게는 3년 길게는 10년 쓰이며, 건축용도로도 사용되고 있습니다.
우리나라 건국대학교 앞의 커몬그라운드도 컨테이너를 연결해 만들었죠.
Once it is manufactured, it is used for minimum 3 years ~ maximum 10 years. And also used for struction market.
In Korea, "Common Ground" is made by lots of containers near Kunkuk University.
몇 가지 주요 종류를 알려드리자면,
Some kinds of containers below,
A. 드라이 or 스탠다드 컨테이너 : 보통 사용되는 컨테이너 보신 것들은 전부 얘네입니다. 기본적인 컨테이너구요, 컨테이너가 발전하면서 교역 물량이 급격히 증가하였죠.
보통 20ft, 40ft 로 또 종류가 나뉠 수 있는데, 내부 용량에 따라 다르게 제작되는 것입니다.
또 높이가 30cm 높은 것들이 있습니다. 이것들은 인치별로 20 HC, 40HC라고 합니다.
FEU, TEU라고 불리는 용어가 있어요, FEU는 40ft 컨테이너를 말하며 Forty-foot Equivalent Unit이라고 합니다.
TEU는 20ft 컨테이너로 Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit입니다. 보통 FEU보단 2TEU로 표현할 정도로 TEU를 더 많이 사용합니다.
A. Dry or Standard Container : You may find these easily and its use is quite frequent. This one is normal type, and trade quantity has been grown by its developement.
It has also 2 sizes - 20 ft / 40 ft. even in 2 sizes, it also has 2 kinds of height (normal / 30 cm taller one)
So, in stard container - 20ft(normal), 40ft(normal), 20HC(taller), 40HC(taller).
There is terms for trading : FEU (Forty-foot Equivalent Unit) & TEU (Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit).
FEU is 40ft container and TEU is 20ft one. And lots of traders use TEU more. Like using 2TEU more than using 1 FEU.
B. 냉동 컨테이너 : 단열재를 통해 보온 / 보냉이 가능하도록 처리한 컨테이너 입니다.
보통 적도를 지나는 선박들이 많은데, 적도를 지날 때의 컨테이너 내부 온도는 80도 가까이도 됩니다.
따라서, 식품 등 온도에 민감한 제품들은 보온이나 보냉 처리가 된 컨테이너를 이용합니다.
B. Reefer Container : The customed container with insulation for cold-proof / heat-proof.
As lots of container ships voyage via equator, the internal container's temperature goes about 80C degree.
So, for temperature sensitive goods, use this container for keep it orginal.
C. 오픈 탑 컨테이너 : 적재가 어려운 상품의 경우 위에서 넣는 경우가 있습니다.
천장이 뚫려있어서 적재하기 용이하며, 천막으로 가리는 경우가 많아요. 아마 목재 등을 이렇게 담는 것으로 알고 있습니다.
C. Open-Top Container : Use in some difficult situation to shipping .
Following its name, this container has no roof. So, its roof is covered with tent textile. Maybe wood is shipped in this one.
D. 플랫 랙 컨테이너 : 오픈 탑 컨테이너에서 위쪽 뿐 아니라, 사방이 뚫려있는 컨테이너입니다.
기계 등 부피나 중량이 큰 화물을 적재할때 사용합니다.
사방이 열려있기 때문에 고정을 위해 쇼어링이라는 고정작업을 하게 됩니다.
D. Flat Rack Container : Comparing to Open-top container, it is open to everywhere. This container has just flat bottom.
Usually use this for shipping machinery; huge volume or heavy weight stuff.
Because of its openess, there is 'Shoring' process for fixing to container bottom.
E. 탱크 컨테이너 : 액체나 기체, 화학물질 등을 운반하는 컨테이너 입니다. 일반 화물들과 함께 같이 운송되면 안되기 때문에 탱크 형식으로 되어있습니다.
E. Tank Container : It usually delivers liquids, gas or chemical things. If these stuff go in dry container, cause waste spaces or ineffectiveness. So, use this or bulk ship.
