Briefly I would say it is called female genital mutilation (FGM) . Refers to surgical removal of a part or a whole of the external female genital.
It has different types, graded 1-4 or 1-5. With 1 being the least and widely practiced and the last being the worst.
There are several reasons for FGM being carried out in different parts of the world a few are:
- Right of passage of girlhood to womanhood
- To reduce cheating
- To maintain a widow's pride who pledged for the dead husband (u wonn't Fuck no more 😀)
- Cultural reasons
- Etc
Is it good for a female child to be circumcised?
To me u would say a capital NO.
Please circumcise none.
There is no medical advantage for circumcising a woman. Rather there are for a man.
