Lockdown Day 2 : seven photos and 1 poem
Hello most beloved readers,
Think I will start this post with a poem for you today.
Title : Lockdown Day 2
From my window I can see the world,
But I'm locked down, locked down to this chair,
I can't move, I'm on lockdown,
I can't go out and play.
The chamber of the prison
Where the guilty are jailed for life
Is the same chamber
Where the innocent are jailed for time
From the window I see the world,
The air is crisp and the birds are singing,
But I remain stuck in my cell,
As the officers keep watch over the jail.
From the window I see the world
The world is so beautiful and so great,
I wonder if it will ever see
How beautiful it truly is,
But I think this is my fate,
Bound to lockdown till Saturday I waite .
I know you didn't come to read poems today and you didn't come to take in the latest work of some up and coming poet. You came to see photos... so lets get to that.
Wwhile in the yard walking @kooza, we discovered this little toy was interesting to say the least.
when I go out later on today I think a few more photos of him... her? it?
and here is is the sexy beast himself, @kooza looking furry. stalking something through the bushes, ferocious mighty wolf indeed.
This is a picture played with some filters looking out across the cityscape, the geometric void tilting shapes edgeed together, making a calliope of sites.
the little pup decided dig some holes today as well. I would say my professional hole digger indeed.
I know you're thinking, it is the deck of some international starship, flying to the void space. No it's just looking up at my building's façade - blue sky above.
And the lonely cactus, cacti? trying to climb the wall, but will never reach. So sad. So true. What can we do...
Dear Lonely Cactus, How are you feeling in this hot and dry place? Is the sun of the desert too hot for your little needles? I hope not, but if you're feeling lonely, I'd love to take you in and give you a drink and some company! Sometimes, we just need someone to share with, but we're so shy, that we don't know how to ask. Maybe we're too scared to risk being rejected by a person. Maybe we're too scared to put ourselves out there and risk the loneliness and rejection at all. I know it's hard to find a friend who understands what it's like to be lonely because of how you look.
Esteemed Blog Readers, I hope that your day is going well. Thanks for reading my blog post! I just want to say to be looking out for a new blog post tomorrow. Anyways, thanks for looking! Enjoy your day!
