Governments lie, but that does not mean everything said by any bureaucrat is entirely false.

The equations and models I have seen presented by flat-earthers blatantly misrepresent the globe model, resulting in strawman arguments that fail to actually address the real point. Their models I have seen also fail to accurately reflect observations when placed under even rudimentary scrutiny.
